Inc. is looking for a self-motivated, professional, and detailed oriented project manager who is capable of administrating construction projects including interfacing with clients, coordinating, and collaboratively working with job superintendents, and trade contractors to successfully deliver projects on time, on budget, and with the highest quality possible.
Typical Responsibilities:
Administer, oversee, and supervise project operations Prepare, monitor, and maintain job cost tracking reports Develop and maintain construction schedules Prepare and distribute project directories Obtain building permits Apply for utility connections Prepare trade subcontracts and purchase orders Estimate and preparation of prime change orders Review and coordinate shop drawings and material submittals approvals Communicate and document issues with clients, architects, and subcontractors Plan all construction operations and schedule to ensure timely completion Determine project manpower and need resources Evaluate progress and develop any remediation to improve scheduling Manage and distribute any document revisions, RFI's, and directives to field personnel and trades Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards, protocol, and reporting Project close out documents, certificates, O&M manuals, and warranties
Prerequisites:
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture
  • Proven understanding of construction practices
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material and project management principles
  • Familiar with quality and health and safety standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, e-mail, and digital communication
  • Familiar with construction project software
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Team player with leadership abilities
