Bishop Mays values safety, accountability, and performance in the field and on site. Role Description The Project Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Greer, SC. The Project Manager will coordinate and oversee land development projects from planning through completion, ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Daily responsibilities include organizing and tracking materials and equipment, managing subcontractors and internal crews, and monitoring site progress and quality. The role involves scheduling and expediting activities, conducting site inspections, addressing issues in real time, and maintaining clear communication with clients, vendors, and team members. The Project Manager will prepare and update project documentation, support logistics and resource allocation, and collaborate with leadership to continuously improve processes and project outcomes. Qualifications Strong project delivery capabilities, with skills in Project Management and Expediting for coordinating timelines, tasks, and resources. Experience in Expeditor responsibilities and Logistics Management to handle materials, equipment flow, and vendor coordination. Proficiency in Inspection activities to verify work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to plans and specifications. Background in construction, civil engineering, land development, or related field is highly beneficial. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, schedules, and project documentation. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with crews, subcontractors, and clients. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on safety. Comfort working on active job sites in varying outdoor conditions; valid driver's license required. Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
