Position Summary The Project Superintendent oversees day-to-day construction activities and ensures projects run smoothly, safely, and on schedule. This position serves as the key link between the field and the Senior Project Manager — keeping communication clear, managing crews, and ensuring every job meets Troyer's standards of quality and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and supervise all daily on-site construction activities. Manage crews, subcontractors, and schedules to maintain project timelines. Conduct site walkthroughs, inspections, and daily reports with documentation and photos. Identify potential delays or site challenges and communicate promptly to the Senior Project Manager. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times. Verify work completion against blueprints and project scope. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies. Support change orders or project adjustments as directed. Qualifications 3+ years of residential construction experience (barndominium, framing, or post-frame experience preferred). Proven background leading crews or managing construction sites. Strong understanding of framing, concrete, and general building systems . Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings. Proficiency with site documentation software and reporting tools. CPR/First Aid and OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred. Trade-specific knowledge (Electrical, Plumbing, Framing, etc.) is a plus. What You Bring Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and pride in your work. Ability to thrive in outdoor and active construction environments. A commitment to teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement. Physical & Work Requirements Frequent travel to job sites (company vehicle or mileage reimbursement provided). Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on uneven terrain. Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and environments. Must wear appropriate PPE (safety-toe boots, hard hat, protective gear).
