Assistant Project Manager Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support our landscape, irrigation, and hardscape installation projects. This role involves coordinating with clients, managing project documentation, and assisting in field operations to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in landscape-related installations and possess strong communication, organizational, and technical skills. Duties Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements, provide updates, and address inquiries throughout the project lifecycle. Manage and maintain spreadsheets related to project schedules, budgets, materials, and other relevant data to ensure accurate tracking and reporting. operate in a functional home office environment to support remote coordination and administrative tasks. Participate in field activities primarily focused on landscape, irrigation, and hardscape installation projects, ensuring work aligns with project plans and specifications. Read and interpret drawings and construction documents to facilitate accurate implementation of project designs. Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and coordinating various phases of projects. Drive with a trailer as needed for material transportation or site visits. Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed on-site. Qualifications Minimum of one year of experience in landscape, irrigation, or hardscape installation preferred. Ability to read and work from construction drawings and documents accurately. Strong client communication skills with a professional demeanor. Proficiency in managing spreadsheets for project tracking and reporting purposes. Ability to set up and maintain an efficient home office workspace supporting remote work activities. Valid driver's license with the ability to drive with a trailer when necessary. Comfortable working primarily in the field with occasional in-office tasks as needed. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
