Production Manger/Project Manager Specialty Coils Longview, TX Job Details Full-time $70,000 - $80,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Qualifications Manufacturing facility experience Schedule management Analysis skills Business Factory experience Full Job Description Project Manager (Future Production Manager) HVAC Coil Manufacturing Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Project Manager to lead ERP implementation, manufacturing process improvements, factory restack initiatives, and operational excellence projects within our HVAC coil manufacturing facility. This role is intended to transition into a Production Manager position with responsibility for production operations, personnel leadership, and continuous improvement. Essential Responsibilities Project Management & Strategic Initiatives
  • Lead ERP implementation and integration across manufacturing operations.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate vendors, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate status to leadership. Manufacturing Process Improvement
  • Analyze and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop SOPs and process controls.
  • Drive waste reduction and efficiency improvements. Factory Layout & Operational Excellence
  • Lead factory restack and workflow optimization projects.
  • Coordinate equipment relocations and installations.
  • Improve safety, material flow, and capacity utilization. Production Leadership Development
  • Progressively assume responsibility for daily production operations.
  • Lead supervisors and production personnel.
  • Monitor KPIs including safety, quality, delivery, efficiency, and scrap. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing, operations, project management, or production leadership experience.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing operations.
