Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager (Part-time) in the Wichita, Kansas area. This position is required to be on the client site 5 days a week and will support external client teams. As a key contributor to the program support team, you will partner closely with client and contracted engineering, design, and construction professionals to gain a comprehensive understanding of project delivery—from planning and design through procurement, construction, and project controls. You will support the development, documentation, and implementation of standardized project management and project controls processes, configure those processes within integrated project management systems, and develop training materials that promote consistent, high quality project execution. In this role, you will actively apply project management and project controls best practices to enable effective cost and schedule management across large, multi project programs. You will help align project controls processes, systems, and resources to support best in class project delivery. At Jacobs, we're invested in your success. You'll have opportunities to strengthen your skills, contribute across a diverse portfolio of projects, and collaborate with experts across our global organization. 8+ years of experience in project management Demonstrated experience developing and implementing processes with cross functional teams Strong written and verbal communication skills, including engagement with executive leadership and clients Experience implementing and working with project management and information management systems Proven ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize data to deliver strategic, actionable insights Experience managing costs across large, multi project programs Experience developing program- and project level reporting, including schedules, cost data charts for executive status reporting Experience developing and applying formal change management processes Strong analytical skills with a focus on performance improvement and continuous optimization Strong risk management and critical path analysis skills. Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations (visual, written, and verbal) Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders Ideally, here's what you'll also have: Experience with Project Management and asset systems, e.g., Maximo, Procore, etc. Experience building Primavera and MS Project Schedules Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and applications Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new project management systems Ability to work well within a team that may consist of client team members Proven ability to adapt to evolving project requirements in a fast-paced environment Bring your curiosity, passion for innovation, and commitment to collaboration.
