Job Description

Description:
General Engineering Contracting Company, looking for Project Manager and/or Assistant. This position will be expected to report to the Department Head in the corporate office as well as work with Supervisory personnel and Project Owners out in the field as well as any contract field management. You will need to present yourself in a professional manner as a representative of Interstate Rock to build and maintain lasting client relationships and while negotiating contracts/work. Must be willing to explore and secure alternative sources of work, pass off awarded contracts to onsite project management team; assist onsite project managers in preparing all manner of contract paperwork (change orders, RFI's, RFP's, etc.); work with onsite management to prepare monthly project billings, prepare marketing material for potential clients as well as prequalification packets; assist field teams as needed to complete projects. We are looking to build our team with one more person that has all/most of the following qualifications:
Job Responsibilities:
Handle all project paperwork, e.g., change orders, RFIs, RFPs, Submittals, etc. Manages subcontractors, suppliers, and schedules. Create estimates, takeoffs, budgets, and billings for assigned projects. Other responsibilities as required.
Workplace Conditions:
Working hours are from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday thru Friday. Experience /
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, or equivalent (Required).
Project Management Experience:
1 year minimum. US Work Authorization (Required). Bid2Win experience a plus, but not required. Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent scheduling software experience a plus, but not required. Self-motivated and Hard Working. Experience with Underground Utilities a plus, but not required.
