Responsibilities Assist in the development, management, and storage of all project documentation Actively participate in project hand-off meetings to ensure important job information is gathered before proceeding into construction phase Assist the PM in preparing the budgets Assist in developing and managing the construction schedule Develop and write subcontracts and purchase orders as requested Contractually and collaboratively manage subcontractors and their related performance Collect, organize, and distribute materials and equipment submittals as required Create and distribute RFI's for clarification of project specifics Work with PM and accounting to resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information Collaboratively help price, negotiate, and formalize all changes in project scope Work closely with Superintendents on their requests for resources, materials, equipment, etc. Manage safety, quality, and productivity of the project Qualifications Previous professional experience in project management or BS/BA degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or another related field PMP, CCM, or an equivalent certification would be considered an asset OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR Training Commercial/Industrial HVAC knowledge Previous experience in a leadership role with strong and proven leadership skills Ability to multitask and effectively manage time with a strong understanding of priorities in each phase of construction Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs Ability to work collaboratively and plan ahead Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities Highly organized Knowledge of MS Office Suite Knowledge of HVAC safety and quality standards Familiarity with project management software programs
