Job Description

We are looking for an ERP Project Manager to lead a finance-focused Oracle Fusion initiative in Northern, Virginia. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for a functional project leader who combines strong accounting knowledge with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, timelines, and deliverables. The role will support successful execution by driving planning, oversight, and collaboration across key project phases while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and control.
Responsibilities:
  • Direct project activities for an Oracle Fusion engagement, ensuring milestones, priorities, and stakeholder expectations remain aligned throughout the lifecycle.
  • Build and manage detailed rollout strategies, balancing schedules, dependencies, and resource allocation to keep workstreams on track.
  • Partner with finance and accounting teams to translate operational needs into practical project plans and system-related decisions.
  • Oversee data migration and validation efforts to support accurate financial information and dependable reporting outcomes.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing by organizing test plans, monitoring issue resolution, and confirming readiness for deployment.
  • Establish quality control measures that help maintain consistency, reduce risk, and improve delivery standards across the project.
  • Support the review of internal control considerations within project activities to help protect financial processes and compliance objectives.
  • Provide regular status updates, identify risks early, and drive timely resolution of issues that may affect scope, timing, or performance.
