Fort Belvoir, VA Description:
Metric5 is currently seeking a Junior Project Manager to join a growing team on an exciting opportunity with our DoD client. Our Project Manager will perform a variety of duties to include providing front desk support, answering telephones, scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and maintaining records of documentation. You will also review, format, and edit as necessary, all formal documentation to include correspondence, reports, briefings, and memorandums. You will manage Government travel in Defense Travel System (DTS). In addition, experience with agile and scrum methodologies is desired. A successful candidate can support and communicate with senior level military leaders and senior level government officials in a DoD or other Federal Government Agency IT environments.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 2 + years relevant experience
- Proficiency in MS Office products including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Teams
- Excellent verbal communications skills
- Secret level security clearance required
Desired Skills:
- Experience working in a PMO.
Project Planning & Execution:
Develop and execute detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies. Utilize project management methodologies (e.g., Agile) appropriate to the project. Experience as a contractor or federal employee with DoD Point experience
