We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineering Project Manager to lead our design team in mixed-use projects. Our portfolio includes consulting and design work in commercial, residential, government, industrial, and institutional buildings, alongside various site features. Responsibilities Lead and manage the design team in executing projects by defining project budget, scope, design, phasing, and schedule. Ensure communication, policy enforcement, and code adherence within the team. Oversee professional development and control engineering and drafting operations through training and review. Deliver high-quality professional services and ensure project completion. Coordinate all aspects of project management, from inception to execution. Essential Skills Minimum of 5 years' experience in structural design for commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects. Proficiency in Revit Structure, RAM Concept, Finite Element Analysis, RISA 3D. Solid working knowledge of building codes, gravity, and lateral systems. Design and detailing competence with wood, concrete, and steel structures for podium, mid, and high-rise buildings. Deep foundation systems design experience. Construction observation experience. Preparation of detailed engineering studies and analysis reports. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; Master's preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Structural Engineer (SE) certification desirable. Prior management experience of project engineers and drafting personnel. Excellent communication, organization, multi-tasking, and strong team skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet project schedules, and maintain quality standards. Work Environment This position offers a flexible working schedule and the chance to work on high-profile projects. Our environment is relaxed yet energetic, fostering collaboration among a close-knit team. Casual dress is the norm, although professional attire is required for client meetings. The firm holds active licenses in 20 states and the District of Columbia, with a staff comprising 25 personnel, including nine licensed professional engineers.
