Who You Are:
Tribble Electric is hiring an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our Commercial Construction Department. In this role, you will help the Project Manager oversee the day-to-day operations, coordinate workers, materials, and equipment. This role ensures that specifications are being followed and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.What You'll Do:
Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing commercial electrical projects from start to finish. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and construction documents. Support the change order process, including documentation, tracking, and communication with stakeholders. Manage and communicate revisions to project plans and specifications. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Help manage field manpower, including scheduling and productivity tracking. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones to ensure deadlines are met. Attend project meetings and provide updates to the project team. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Follow instructions from senior project managers and contribute to problem-solving efforts.What You'll Bring:
Qualified Journeyman Electrician with 3+ years of commercial electrical construction experience. Strong ability to read and understand blueprints and construction documents. Familiarity with change order processes and project revisions. Experience with vendor and subcontractor coordination. Journeyman Electrician card is a plus. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work on multiple large-scale projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., Procore, BuildOps, or similar) a plus Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment. Driving Requirements Must have a valid Virginia driver's license. Must have positive points on state driving record. Must be at least 21 years of age unless company approval is granted. Must not have had a DUI, DWI, or reckless driving conviction in the last five years. All driving records are run as part of our pre-employment process and reviewed at the discretion of the Safety Team. Physical Requirements Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.What We Offer:
