Why This Role Matters The Project Manager - Mobile Work Crew is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Didlake's mobile work crew contracts, including litter collection, grounds maintenance, and related site services across multiple customer locations. This position plans, assigns, and inspects work; manages staff, schedules, equipment, safety, and quality; and ensures contract requirements and customer expectations are met or exceeded. The Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between Didlake, customers, and employees and supports the successful employment and development of individuals with disabilities.

What You Will Do Contract & Operational Leadership Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of assigned mobile work crew contracts to ensure project goals, contract requirements, quality standards, and customer expectations are met within established timeframes and funding parameters. Assign work, issue supplies and equipment, inspect completed work, and monitor operational performance across multiple customer locations. Serve as the primary liaison between Didlake, customers, employees, and corporate departments, addressing complaints and resolving operational issues as appropriate. Complete monthly route tracking and on-site scoring reports and submit customer-required documentation by established deadlines. Team Leadership Train, supervise, coach, and develop employees on assigned work, equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality standards. Support the successful employment of individuals with disabilities by providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback that promotes skill development, independence, and workplace success.

Foster a positive team spirit through dependable leadership, strong work ethic, professionalism, and accountability. Address employee concerns and performance issues, referring matters to management as necessary. Resource Management Requisition, assign, and monitor supplies and equipment needed to support contract operations. Act as a good steward of employer and customer resources. May fill in for crew members as needed to maintain service delivery. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with contract requirements, Didlake policies and procedures, safety standards, and applicable laws. Reinforce safe work practices and the proper use of equipment and supplies. Maintain appropriate conduct and professionalism as dictated by Didlake policy. Quality Assurance Inspect work and ensure assigned areas remain clean, orderly, and free from waste on a daily basis. Oversee the collection of litter, including cigarette butts, food remnants, wrappers, containers, napkins, paper products, and other solid waste. Ensure trash, litter, and waste are properly transported to designated disposal areas. Implement corrective actions, coaching, and retraining when quality deficiencies are identified. Administrative & Mission Support Complete required paperwork, reports, documentation, and training in a timely and accurate manner. Foster a respectful, inclusive work environment and promote quality work and teamwork. Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

You build positive relationships with customers and employees, promote a culture of safety and accountability, and support the successful employment and development of individuals with disabilities. You excel at balancing operational priorities, solving problems, and keeping projects on track while maintaining high standards of performance.

Education & Experience Bachelor's degree and at least two (2) years of relevant experience in custodial, facility maintenance, grounds maintenance, or related operations; OR

A high school diploma/GED and at least five (5) years of relevant experience in custodial, facility maintenance, grounds maintenance, or related operations.

At least two (2) years of supervisory or team leadership experience required. Skills & Abilities Prior experience in a contract environment, budgets, safety, and personnel management regulations preferred. Ability to drive a passenger van with a capacity of up to 15 passengers. Must be insurable under Didlake's automobile policy, including being at least 25 years of age with a minimum of three (3) years of licensed driving experience. Eligibility to drive company vehicles is contingent upon successful review of the candidate's motor vehicle record and approval by Didlake's insurance carrier in accordance with established underwriting guidelines.

Ability to successfully pass a background check.

Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions required.

Must possess strong interpersonal skills to interact with, train, and resolve the personnel issues of people with disabilities.

Must possess strong leadership and coaching skills. Microsoft Office proficiency.
