12 Months We're supporting an aerospace engineering organisation in the search for a Project Engineering Analyst to join a high-profile team responsible for delivering complex development and qualification programmes. This is a hands-on role supporting both a major aerospace programme and an internal technology initiative. You'll work closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Test, and Program Management teams to maintain project schedules, track performance, manage risks, support qualification activities, and ensure critical deliverables stay on track. Responsibilities Maintain and update Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in Microsoft Project. Track project progress, dependencies, milestones, and critical-path activities. Manage both internal resource-loaded schedules and customer-facing programme schedules. Support Earned Value Management (EVM) activities, including ETCs, variance analysis, and monthly performance reporting. Develop staffing forecasts and resource plans using project schedule data. Prepare weekly and monthly programme reviews for leadership. Monitor actual performance against plan and identify schedule or cost risks. Own and maintain project risk and opportunity registers. Coordinate qualification and testing activities with vendors, laboratories, and external partners. Support cross-functional teams to drive action closure and programme execution. Prepare reporting packs, dashboards, presentations, and project metrics. Support a parallel technology programme involving schedule management, risk tracking, and deployment coordination. Required Experience Experience in a Project Engineer, Program Analyst, Project Controls, Scheduler, or related role. Strong Microsoft Project experience. Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, reporting, and data analysis. Practical Earned Value Management (EVM/EVMS) experience. Experience managing integrated schedules and tracking programme performance. Ability to work across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Project teams. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to drive actions and hold teams accountable without direct authority. Preferred Experience Aerospace, Defence, Aviation, or other highly regulated industries. Exposure to qualification testing, verification, validation, or product development programmes. Experience coordinating external vendors, laboratories, or test houses. Knowledge of risk management and programme controls processes. Exposure to AI, automation, or digital transformation projects is beneficial but not required.
