Job Description

Powerstone Property Management, a growing community association (HOA) management company is seeking a community association manager for its satellite office in Carlsbad, CA. Position Summary :
Manages common interest developments or CIDs, including homeowner associations in the San Diego county area under the supervision of the Director of the satellite office. Essential Functions/Responsibilities Manages a portfolio of homeowner associations Serves as liaison among homeowners, board members, and vendors Attends board meetings Takes minutes and implements direction from the board Follows policies and procedures from the board Conducts property inspections per the contract. Walks the property, inspects for CC&R (covenants, conditions, and restrictions) violations Monitors and inspects landscape and other vendor performance (such as pool and sidewalks) for any association component from the ground-level Issues violation letters based on association policy Issues work orders based on association policy Prepare board package for meetings. Obtain proposals from vendors based on association need Prepare annual calendar for association Complete all tasks on annual calendar within designated timeframe Assure statutory compliance with all applicable laws in regard to CIDs Assure performance in accordance with management agreement Perform job duties per contract Other duties as assigned Education and/or Experience Required Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent, between two and four years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills and Abilities Ability to work flexible hours, including work nights and weekends Must be organized, very detail oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize in fast paced environment Must have exceptional customer service skills Excellent written and oral communication skills in English Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong organization, problem solving and analytical skills Ability to manage priorities and workflow Ability to work under stress, with interruptions, and meet all deadlines Ability to process verbal information and input this information into computer system Ability to follow complex instructions Ability to master basic math skills Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions The starting pay for this position is $72,500/year, however, the salary offered may vary depending on years of HOA management experience.
