Job Description
ISM Management Company LLC manages several apartment communities throughout the Chico area. We have an immediate opening for a full-time Assistant Property Manager at our professionally managed apartment communities in Chico, CA. This position will report to the Property Manager & Regional Manager. Responsible for assisting the apartment property manager to ensure the efficient operation of the property. This full-time position entails a variety of duties including greeting residents and prospects, answering phones, scheduling appointments, touring prospective residents through apartments, prospect follow up, processing applications, accounts payable and receivable, data entry, and resident retention. Candidates must place an emphasis on teamwork, problem solving, and attention to detail, all while maintaining a high level of quality customer service, professionalism and time management to ensure daily maximum productivity. Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and current proof of auto insurance is required. Must be able to use own vehicle to transport self to different property sites. Two plus years of experience in Property Management required. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Assisting the property manager in interviewing, screening and hiring of any potential employee for all departments.
- Assisting the property manager in subsequent orientation training and scheduling of all office personnel.
- Responsible for the inventory and ordering of all necessary administrative supplies and equipment for the office.
- Responsible for always ensuring a professional appearance and manners for oneself and all personnel.
- Assisting the property manager in achieving the occupancy goals of the property utilizing various marketing methods and programs.
- Responsible for the knowledge and administration of the following:
- Thorough knowledge of leasing techniques and sales methods as designated by ISM Management Company, LLC.
- Knowledge of property rental information.
- Thorough knowledge of the company Policies and Procedures manual and property community policies.
- Responsible for assisting in efficient and timely reporting, maintenance and submission of all administrative forms, files and weekly reports.
- Responsible for processing payables in Yardi.
- Responsible for ensuring contact with business and locator services and availability of promotional materials.
- Responsible for ensuring efficient and courteous response to resident requests.
- Responsible for ensuring that all personnel in all departments operate within OSHA and EPA standards as well as following all Fair Housing regulations.
- Responsible for assisting the property manager in designing, implementing and maintaining a resident retention program
- Responsible for the efficient and timely reporting, maintenance and submission of all administrative forms, files and weekly reports.
- Responsible for always ensuring a professional appearance and attitude for yourself and all property employees.
- Responsible for following company policies and procedures.

Pay:
$21.00- $24.
