OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
has experience in a Apartment Manager role or Real Estate field. They should be dynamic leader and possess the ability to communicate well; be fully competent at all phases of financial and variance reporting; be an excellent communicator and proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel), Google Apps (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive), and property management-related software (i.e. Appfolio, Yardi etc.). Must have a PASSION for excellent customer service and creating a positive living experience for their residents!
ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
The properties consist of 30+ units each, one mile from CSU, Chico. This is an
ON SITE, LIVE IN
position. No pets, please.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Timely collection of rents and other income
  • Timely service and enforcement of evictions for non-payment of rent and violation of the community rules and regulations that cause loss of revenues
  • Post and schedule all incoming service requests
  • Ensure timely completion of all duties by staff personnel.
  • Daily inspection of the common areas, grounds, and parking lots for maintenance and safety
  • Inspect interior and exterior of apartments to assess seasonal maintenance needs or to investigate lease violations
  • Ensure timely collections of rent through the lease term
  • Ensure the timely vacating of apartments as scheduled, to minimize loss of income
  • Inspect all vacated apartments for accurate costs of turnover and ensure the timely turnover of all apartments
  • Process all security deposits dispositions in a timely manner
  • Handle assorted tenant issues and address after hour emergencies as needed
  • Comply with the Fair Housing Laws
  • Creating a positive living experience for the residents including planning and hosting Resident Events
  • Perform any and all functions as requested by the Assigned Property Manager in addition to those outlined Compensation
  • Part-time position with an hourly range of $19
  • 21 per hour DOE
  • Reduced rent for the onsite apartment
  • 6 paid holidays including Thanksgiving and the 4th of July.
  • Yearly paid vacations after 1 year.
