We are seeking an experienced Executive Director/RCFE Administrator to lead the daily operations of our residential care facility for the elderly (RCFE). This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, staff leadership, facility operations, and positive relationships with residents, families, employees, and the surrounding community. The Executive Director serves as the Administrator of Record and is responsible for maintaining appropriate staffing, overseeing facility operations, and promoting resident autonomy, dignity, choice, and quality of life . Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all resident care, services, and facility operations. Ensure compliance with California RCFE licensing requirements, Title 22, and the facility's plan of operation . Recruit, hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and manage staff. Maintain personnel, resident, and regulatory records. Complete resident appraisals, reassessments, and Needs & Services Plans as required. Monitor residents' physical, mental, social, and functional well-being and respond to changing needs. Coordinate with physicians, families, responsible parties, community agencies, and other care providers. Manage admissions, referrals, placements, and transitions in accordance with California regulations. Develop and manage operational procedures, programs, budgets, staffing plans, and marketing initiatives. Maintain adequate staffing and effective supervision throughout the facility. Conduct regular facility rounds and promptly address safety, care, or operational concerns. Lead staff meetings and support ongoing employee development. Respond appropriately to unusual incidents and suspected elder abuse, including required regulatory reporting. Build strong relationships with residents, families, employees, neighbors, and community partners. Support resident and family councils and facilitate access to appropriate community resources. Maintain readiness for emergencies and provide First Aid/CPR when needed. Qualifications Current and valid California RCFE Administrator Certificate . Successful completion of the required 80-hour RCFE Administrator course and CCL administrator examination. Minimum 2 years of California RCFE administrator experience within the past 8 years , with a record of substantial regulatory compliance. Minimum 12 months of experience marketing residential care services to the local community. At least 2 years of college, 3 years of experience providing residential care to seniors, or equivalent education and experience approved by the licensing agency. High school diploma or GED. Working knowledge of Title 22, California RCFE regulations, California labor laws, and Cal/OSHA requirements . Current First Aid and CPR certification. Successful criminal record, fingerprint, and reference clearances. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common administrative/accounting software. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including walking/standing, lifting, and assisting with resident activities of daily living as needed. Pay:

$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
