As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of commercial properties. You will assist with tenant relations, coordinate maintenance requests, support daily property operations, and ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with the Property Manager, you will help maintain property standards, enhance tenant satisfaction, manage financial and administrative responsibilities, and build strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and property owners. Your proactive approach and problem-solving skills will contribute directly to the success and overall performance of each property. Scope of Work Assist with the collection, posting, and resolution of rent and other tenant charges. Review, approve, and process accounts payable invoices and statements. Solicit, review, and analyze vendor bids for maintenance and repair projects, and coordinate vendor activities for contracted services. Communicate professionally with property owners, tenants, vendors, and contractors to ensure the efficient operation and performance of assigned properties. Conduct routine building and property inspections and report any maintenance or operational concerns. Maintain current certificates of insurance and required documentation for vendors and tenants. Assist the Property Manager with day-to-day property operations, administrative tasks, and special projects as needed. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in commercial or industrial property management, real estate, or a related field preferred. College degree preferred. Strong administrative and organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize competing demands, and consistently meet deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with tenants, owners, vendors, and contractors. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Familiarity with Yardi or other property management software is a plus. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to properties as needed. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment. Proactive, dependable, and solutions-oriented approach to daily responsibilities.
