In this energetic role, you will be the vital link between residents, vendors, and property operations, ensuring a vibrant, well-maintained community. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help foster a welcoming environment while managing administrative tasks with precision. You'll play a key role in maintaining compliance with fair housing regulations and enhancing resident satisfaction through exceptional service. The schedule for this position is Tuesdays-Saturdays with Sundays and Mondays as "off" days. Responsibilities Assist in managing lease or rental agreement processes, including application screening, lease signing, and renewals using Yardi Voyager property management. Coordinate property maintenance requests and facilities management to ensure a safe and attractive environment for residents. Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and record-keeping related to tenant files, contracts, and compliance documentation such as Bond and Section 8 programs. Handle client communication with professionalism via phone, email, and in person to address inquiries promptly and courteously. Enforce fair housing laws and Section 8 regulations diligently while managing conflict resolution among residents or staff. Assist with community resident events, such as pot lucks, holiday parties, etc. Complete tenant move-in/move-out inspections in compliance with all company procedures. Daily reports / Conduct unit inspections. Maintain the safety and security of the apartment community and its residents at all times. Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s). Experience Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with hands-on knowledge using Yardi Voyager. Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law, fair housing regulations, and Bond and Section 8 compliance requirements. Prior experience managing lease agreements, rental contracts, or tenant relations within a property management company setting. Demonstrated ability to handle conflict management professionally while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Office experience involving data entry, filing systems, customer relationship management (CRM), and administrative support functions. Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and facilities management practices is highly desirable. Excellent negotiation skills combined with effective phone etiquette and client communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
