Our client, a premier multifamily housing company in San Mateo County, is seeking a Leasing & Experience Manager to lead onsite leasing operations, coach and develop leasing professionals, and ensure an exceptional prospect and resident experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring others, and has a strong background in leasing, sales, and customer service. What You'll Do Leadership & Team Development Supervise, train, coach, and mentor the leasing team. Provide leadership and support to maximize leasing performance and customer satisfaction. Assist Leasing Specialists with closing rentals and overcoming objections. Ensure leasing team members are following company policies and best practices. Leasing & Sales Operations Oversee the entire leasing process, including phone, email, walk-in, and internet inquiries. Schedule appointments, conduct community tours, and secure new leases. Maintain leasing performance goals in alignment with property budgets and management plans. Verify and approve rental applications and conduct credit screenings. Stay informed on rental policies, concessions, affordable housing programs, BMR qualifications, Section 8, and other site-specific programs. Ensure accurate collection and recording of rental funds and documentation. Property Presentation & Resident Experience Conduct daily property walks to ensure market-ready units and common areas meet company standards. Monitor tour routes and identify opportunities to improve the prospect experience. Partner with onsite teams to maintain a welcoming and professional community environment. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 years of leasing, sales, or customer service experience. Strong sales, marketing, and customer service skills. Knowledge of rental housing practices, leasing procedures, and fair housing requirements. Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-up skills. Preferred Qualifications Previous supervisory or team lead experience in leasing, sales, or property management. Experience with affordable housing programs, BMR qualifications, or Section 8 housing.
