A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

We are currently seeking an experienced Property Manager who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and solution-driven. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can handle multiple responsibilities efficiently, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to every challenge. Local in Bay Area Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with Section 8 housing regulations where applicable. Respond promptly to tenant repair, emergency, and inquiry calls Coordinate maintenance with vendors and tenants Oversee vendor performance and work order system Schedule property inspections to ensure safety and habitability Manage larger maintenance projects in coordination with owners and vendors Post notices for repairs, rent collection, and legal compliance Generate and facilitate lease agreements with leasing agents Prepare and issue 3-day notices, late rent letters, and manage evictions Audit tenant and owner statements for accuracy Ensure timely rent collection and security deposit refunds for move-out tenants Coordinate with on-site managers and inspectors Maintain a structured and efficient filing system for all office documents and record Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent education required Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices. Demonstrated ability to adopt and integrate emerging AI technologies to enhance work efficiency Minimum of 2-3 years of direct experience in property management Spanish speaking is a PLUS Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace applications Exceptional attention to detail with strong multitasking and organizational abilities Experience using AppFolio or comparable property management software preferred Possession of a valid driver's license required Residency on the Peninsula strongly preferred Why Join Us?
