Job Description
Overview We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and dedicated Adult Residential Facility (ARF) Administrator to lead the operations of our adult residential facility. In this vital role, you will oversee daily management, ensure the delivery of exceptional resident care, and foster a supportive environment for both residents and staff. Your leadership will drive compliance, operational efficiency, and quality service, creating a warm, safe, and engaging community for adults with developmental disabilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of residents while demonstrating strong management and healthcare expertise.. Duties Manage daily facility operations, ensuring smooth coordination between departments and ensure compliance and adherence to applicable laws and regulations. Oversee care plans tailored to residents' individual needs. Supervise staff members, providing leadership, and training to foster a motivated team environment. Ensure medication administration is conducted accurately and in compliance with healthcare regulations. Maintain detailed documentation on resident progress, incident reports, and compliance records to uphold quality standards. Lead efforts in community engagement by coordinating activities that enhance residents' quality of life and social interaction. As needed, implement operational policies that promote safety, health standards, and regulatory compliance within the facility. Train and assist new Administrators in the day to day operations and ensure full compliance to applicable regulations. Experience Strong knowledge and expertise in practical implementation of applicable ARF laws and regulations (Title 22, Chapters 1 and 6, Applicable Sections of California Code of Regulations Title 17, HCBS or Home & Community-Based Services). At least 5 years of direct experience in managing adult residential facility (ARF) care homes. Demonstrated supervisory or management experience adult residence environments. Familiarity with developing and managing care plans tailored to residents' unique needs. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle budgeting, resource allocation, and operational planning effectively. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in home & community-based services is highly desirable. Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols in healthcare settings. Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff while maintaining a compassionate approach toward residents. Strong communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including social workers and healthcare providers.
