You will serve as a vital mentor, facilitating opportunities for learning in an in facility setting, and also while in the community; empowering our participants to achieve their personal best.

Core Responsibilities Curriculum & Facilitation:

Design and lead engaging, individualized training sessions and community outings focused on adaptive living skills.

Mentorship:

Provide consistent, empathetic coaching that promotes self-advocacy.

Relationship Building:

Act as a key partner for participants, their families, and community stakeholders to ensure a holistic support network.

Impact Tracking:

Monitor participant progress, maintain data collection records that help direct approaches to training.

Compliance:

Ensure all documentation and program activities meet organizational and regulatory standards.

What You Bring Experience:

At least 6 months of experience (professional or personal) supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.

Communication Skills:

Clear, enthusiastic communicator who can connect with diverse audiences.

Creative Mindset:

A knack for designing activities that drive engagement and align with our mission.

Expertise:

Familiarity with inclusive practices, positive behavioral support, and community engagement.

Reliability:

A proactive problem-solver who works well independently and as part of a collaborative team. Requirements At least 6 months of experience providing care for those with developmental disabilities (professional or personal). Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check (live-scan), pre-employment physical, and motor vehicle report (MVR). A reliable vehicle that can be used during the course of employment. Proof of vehicle insurance. A valid in-person CPR certification is required (online certifications are not accepted; we provide classes for future renewals) . Why Join Us?
