J&H Asset Property Management, Inc. is a full-service property management company managing more than 160 manufactured home communities throughout the Western United States. Our corporate headquarters is located in Yorba Linda, California. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Property Assistant to support a Regional Property Manager in the daily operation of their portfolio. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient property operations by coordinating communications, maintaining records, assisting with compliance, and supporting a wide range of administrative and operational functions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prepare, proofread, and distribute correspondence including notices, letters, tenancy documents, operational reports, and other property-related communications. Serve as a professional point of contact for residents, on-site managers, vendors, property owners, and internal staff via phone and email. Coordinate with the Regional Property Manager to track, prioritize, and follow through on property issues, resident concerns, maintenance matters, and operational projects. Maintain accurate property files, records, and documentation in accordance with company policies. Prepare reports, compile data, and assist with operational and financial reporting as requested. Assist with implementing company policies, procedures, and operational initiatives across assigned communities. Provide administrative support for special projects and company initiatives assigned by Regional Property Managers or Executive Management. Assist with training and communicating company procedures to on-site management personnel when appropriate. Monitor project progress and ensure assignments are completed accurately and within established deadlines. Conduct all interactions with residents, vendors, owners, and fellow employees with professionalism, integrity, courtesy, and respect while maintaining confidentiality. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and other business software. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment. Professional customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations tactfully. Proficient math, grammar, and business writing skills and experience. Bilingual (English/Spanish). Previous administrative, customer service, property management, or real estate experience is preferred. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, highly organized, and committed to providing exceptional support to both internal and external customers. They demonstrate sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, take initiative, and consistently represent the company in a professional manner.
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
