•5:00 p.m. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Leasing/Assistant Manager to join our affordable housing community in Fort Collins, CO. This position supports the day-to-day operations of the property while assisting prospective and current residents throughout the leasing process, maintaining accurate resident files, supporting compliance requirements, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) regulations and affordable housing programs, along with excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Essential Responsibilities Greet prospective residents, provide property tours, and highlight available units and community amenities. Promote available units through online platforms, signage, and community outreach. Explain lease terms, application requirements, pricing, and community policies to prospective and current residents. Assist applicants throughout the application and leasing process. Process and maintain accurate applicant and resident files. Create, maintain, and update property waitlists. Process recertifications and lease renewals and assist with resident retention efforts. Ensure compliance with applicable LIHTC and affordable housing requirements. Work closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to help ensure quality work and timely resolution of resident concerns. Provide excellent resident service through effective communication and proactive issue resolution. Conduct move-in and move-out inspections with residents. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports as assigned by the Property Manager. Understand and communicate lease provisions and community policies to new and current residents. Understand and comply with applicable landlord-tenant and Fair Housing laws. Assist the Property Manager with day-to-day property operations as needed. Qualifications Strong understanding of LIHTC regulations, income limits, and compliance requirements
•Required Knowledge of affordable housing and government housing programs. Previous leasing, property management, or affordable housing experience preferred. Experience with AppFolio property management software preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Knowledge of Fair Housing requirements and applicable landlord-tenant laws.
