Residential Manager•Supporting Adults with Developmental Disabilities Mountain Valley Developmental Services (MVDS)
Pay:
$25.00•30.50/hour•based on experience
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours/week minimum (Day, Evening, Overnight shifts possible)

Do you have a background in healthcare, human services, residential care, or group home management? We're looking for a compassionate, dependable, and hands-on Residential Manager to lead a team supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential group home. This is not an entry-level caregiving role. We are specifically seeking candidates with prior management/supervisory experience and experience working in healthcare, caregiving, residential services, nursing homes, or human services environments . Our mission is to help individuals live more independent, inclusive, and fulfilling lives within their communities. What You'll Do As a Residential Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential group home while also supporting the individuals who live there.
This role combines:
Staff leadership and scheduling Direct caregiving support Program oversight Medication and documentation compliance Budgeting and administrative responsibilities Training and mentoring staff This is a highly involved leadership position where you will be expected to jump in, solve problems, support staff, and ensure quality care at all times.
We're Looking For Candidates Who Have:
Previous supervisory or management experience Experience in caregiving, healthcare, human services, residential/group home settings, or nursing homes Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to manage staffing, scheduling, and employee accountability Experience handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Valid Colorado driver's license Ability to pass criminal background and motor vehicle checks Important to Know Before Applying This is an active, hands-on role — not a desk-only management position.
Residential Managers are expected to:
Assist with personal care and daily living support Respond to medical and behavioral needs Work directly with staff and residents Participate in scheduling coverage and emergencies when needed Lift up to 50 lbs and assist with transfers when necessary Why This Role Matters The Residential Manager plays a critical role in creating a safe, supportive, and empowering home environment for adults with developmental disabilities.
