Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Housing in exchange for a few hours/month of property management and light handyperson work! Looking for a single or couple to provide simple property management/handyperson skills a few hours a month in beautiful Ouray, Colorado! The position comes with a studio apartment (furnished or unfurnished) in exchange for a few hours a month tending to our 10 unit property. Duties including leasing units, collecting rent, providing very basic handyperson services, and serving as a point of contact for tenants and any vendors. Average hours of work typically run between 5-10 hours a month and can be scheduled around your personal schedule. This role offers the unique opportunity to live rent-free in a beautiful mountain town while pursuing other passions. Must be personable, dependable, organized, and be able to pass a background check. Duties Manage lease or rental agreement processes, including signing, renewals, and terminations. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing resident inquiries, resolving conflicts promptly, and maintaining positive client relationships. Oversee property leasing activities including collecting rent. Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management tasks, including scheduling repairs and conducting regular inspections. Handle data entry, filing, and record keeping related to tenant files and contracts. Provide basic handyperson/cleaning skills a few hours a month.
Pay:
$1.00 - $2.00 per hour Expected hours: 2.0 - 3.0 per week
