Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

This role is vital in ensuring that all property systems function efficiently, safety regulations are strictly followed, and tenants or occupants experience exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, and a proactive approach to facilities management. Responsibilities Manage and supervise facilities maintenance teams, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and according to established procedures. Oversee the repair, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical systems such as HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing, electrical systems—including high voltage and low voltage components—and mechanical systems repair. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to optimize equipment uptime. Ensure compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards by conducting regular safety audits, maintaining detailed safety records, and training staff on safety procedures. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot engineering issues effectively. Coordinate projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, managing timelines, budgets, and contractor relationships with a focus on quality and safety. Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and compliance records while adhering to maintenance repair procedures. Conduct regular facility inspections to identify potential issues early on and implement corrective actions promptly. Lead efforts in managing facilities management programs that include HVAC system repair, electrical system troubleshooting, plumbing system maintenance, industrial maintenance tasks, and overall building operations. Foster a team-oriented environment by supervising staff performance, providing training opportunities in mechanical troubleshooting, electrical experience, schematics reading, and safety regulations. Experience Proven management experience overseeing facilities or maintenance teams within manufacturing or industrial environments. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems repair—including HVAC systems—and electrical systems troubleshooting with hands-on experience using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing. Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards related to industrial maintenance and facilities management. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, high voltage/low voltage electrical systems, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation purposes; familiarity with CMMS software is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership in managing facilities maintenance projects from initiation through completion while maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Excellent communication skills in English for effective team supervision and coordination with contractors or vendors.
