Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated professional for a full-time Rotating Property Manager position to cover locations in Seaford, Laurel, Georgetown, and Millsboro. This enterprising and resourceful candidate will be expected to create and maintain high quality relationships with our tenants, complete storage unit and truck rentals, collect and post rent payments, maintain files and complete data entry into self-storage software.   • starter who is available for the following schedule day time: Days and hours required are: Laurel
  • Monday 8:00AM to 3:00PM Seaford
  • Wednesday 8:00AM to 3:00PM Georgetown
  • Friday 8:00AM to 3:00PM Millsboro
  • Saturday 9:00AM to 1:00PM Additional hours may be available at other locations.
Essential Functions:
Perform administrative tasks as related to leasing storage units and rental trucks, payment collection and processing, maintaining tenant information, accurate record keeping and required reporting. Ensure facility standards are met and maintained by following company policies and procedures. Build customer and community relations that support the operation and growth of the business. Storage Administration and Unit Preparation Open and Close facility per company policy and procedures Conduct facility tours and explain features and benefits; types, sizes, cost of units; hours of operation; discounts; other services and products available Prepare, complete, and enter lease agreements/payment information in system Collect and process rent payments Scan checks upon receipt and report deposit to Bookkeeper Maintain accurate records and reports Prepare vacant units for rent Sweep floor and wipe down walls Penske Administration and Truck Preparation Conduct tour of trucks and explain features and benefits; types, sizes, cost of trucks; other services and products available Process rental agreements Collect and process payments Complete inspection of outgoing and incoming trucks Maintain accurate inspection reports Wipe down interior of cab if necessary Sweep out bed of truck if necessary Physical Demands Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs Must be able to stand, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and twist repetitively Must be able to stand continuously for long periods Must be able to climb in and out of trucks Must be able to tolerate climate changes Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities High School diploma or GED Must be proficient in Computer use and applications Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization and be a business partner with management Ability to maintain and ensure confidentiality of employee and company information Attention to detail and accuracy Perform additional duties as needed and/or assigned
