Job Description

AYC Security is seeking a professional and reliable Unarmed Security Officer to serve a large community property. In this role, you will conduct mobile patrols via golf cart across the property, ensuring designated areas are properly secured and that the community remains safe and welcoming for all residents and guests. Key responsibilities include patrolling parking garages and commercial business parking lots, enforcing towing policies, and professionally managing loitering situations involving various individuals, including homeless individuals and unauthorized occupants. This position requires sound judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, composure, and respect for all parties involved. The ideal candidate is alert, dependable, and capable of working independently while maintaining a visible and professional presence throughout the property at all times.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular patrols and monitor premises for suspicious activity. Locking up pools and other community facilities at designated times. During designated times, patrol specific locations and provide tow warnings and/or towing vehicles previously warned. Respond to emergencies and enforce safety protocols. Maintaining the golf cart (ensuring proper charge, cleaning, reporting issues) Provide a professional and courteous presence while ensuring a secure environment. Report any relevant observations from within the community (Police/EMS presence, streetlamp bulb outages, interactions with residents, etc...) Conducting hourly check-ins/reports within assigned job site chats. Minor homeless presence at commercial storefronts within the community. Asking them to leave in a professional manner
Schedule:
Tuesday through Saturday, every week. (5 days a week) Shifts are 9:00PM until 3:00AM each night (6hrs/shift - 30hrs/week)
Requirements:
Valid D Florida Security Licenses (required). Valid Florida Drivers License Minimum of 1 years of security experience. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Strong situational awareness and conflict resolution skills.
Pay & Benefits:
