This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee facilities, coordinate maintenance activities, and implement strategic improvements that enhance property value. You will be at the forefront of facilities management, applying your mechanical knowledge and leadership skills to create safe, functional, and well-maintained environments. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of properties, including maintenance, repairs, and tenant relations to ensure smooth facility functioning. Manage maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inspections, and service histories. Supervise maintenance teams and contractors, providing clear guidance on tasks related to HVAC systems, electrical systems—including high voltage and low voltage components—and industrial equipment. Review schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical wiring, or mechanical systems. Coordinate projects related to facility upgrades or repairs, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints through effective project management. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies in mechanical or electrical systems; implement corrective actions promptly. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, safety compliance, and asset condition reports to support operational excellence. Experience Proven management experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance roles with supervisory responsibilities. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working with schematics, electrical wiring (including high voltage and low voltage systems), and industrial machinery. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting industrial automation systems. Experience using CMMS software for scheduling and tracking maintenance tasks effectively. Knowledge of HVAC systems—installation, troubleshooting, and repair—along with general facilities management expertise. Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to read technical diagrams such as schematics and use tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing; familiarity with industrial manufacturing environments is a plus.
