The HVAC Service Supervisor reports directly to the HVAC Service Manager and is primarily responsible for supervising all AC Service & Maintenance Technicians. This role facilitates training and coaching of technicians, ensures complete customer satisfaction, and resolves escalated customer complaints. You will coach and train technicians on customer service, sales, technical & mechanical knowledge, and company products and services.What You Will Do:
As an HVAC Service Supervisor, you will coordinate and manage Field Service Technicians, increase business volume and customer base, and manage staff to meet and exceed customer expectations.Your responsibilities include:
Partnering Across Departments:
Collaborate with installation, dispatch, warehouse, and other necessary departments to ensure timely and accurate service to customers by company standards and procedures.Customer Resolution:
Follow up and resolve escalated customer disputes/complaints, ensuring effective and long-term problem resolution.Performance Monitoring:
Act on the department's projected and forecasted performance goals, including average ticket per call, percentage of sales leads, average callbacks, and number of COD calls completed.Feedback and Support:
Provide regular feedback to the Service Line Operations Manager and consistent support, professional development, and coaching to all service technicians.Technician Communication:
Maintain effective communication with each technician to ensure clear understanding of goals and expectations.Weekly Meetings:
Plan, develop, and lead weekly technician meetings with appropriate, positive, and balanced content.Safety Integration:
Ensure that safety topics are incorporated into coaching conversations, weekly meetings, and training sessions.What You Need:
Experience:
At least five (5) years of HVAC residential service experience with diagnostic troubleshooting and repair service, including air conditioning & heating systems. At least three (3) years of HVAC Service Technician experience with the ability to train others.Outdoor Work:
Must be willing to work outdoors in any weather conditions.Physical Dexterity:
Must occasionally lift and/or move 75+ poundsTravel:
