A Residential Community Manager manages operations for an apartment community. Responsible for the maintenance and profitability of the apartment community. May provide information about the community to prospective residents, troubleshoot issues with the buildings and community residents. May also review and approve new lease applications, or be responsible for negotiating and closing sales.
We are seeking a sharp, resourceful, dedicated, and experienced Licensed Community Association Manager (LCAM) to take over an existing portfolio of communities. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of property management principles. This is a commission-based role for someone who thrives in high-autonomy, performance-driven environments and wants upside aligned with outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Manage and engage with the Board of Directors and homeowners for each association. Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned community associations. Ensure compliance with Florida state laws and regulations governing community associations. Coordinate and supervise maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects. Prepare and manage association budgets, financial statements, and annual reports. Facilitate board meetings, annual meetings, and other association gatherings. Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners, board members, vendors, and service providers. Enforce community rules and regulations fairly and consistently. Negotiate contracts for services and monitor vendor performance. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to association activities. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel Local travel when necessary Required education and experience CAM license in Florida required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in community association management. Strong knowledge of Florida community association laws and regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Proficiency in property management software and MS Office Suite.
