Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

This position will assist with property management, leasing, acquisitions, sales, rent collection, maintenance, contractor coordination, and property tax appeals. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, hands-on, and experienced in commercial real estate. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of commercial properties. Communicate with tenants and address property-related concerns. Monitor rent collections, lease terms, renewals, and important deadlines. Assist with leasing vacant spaces, property showings, and lease negotiations. Assist ownership with buying and selling commercial properties, including inspections, due diligence, listings, and closings. Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and property improvements. Obtain and compare bids from contractors and vendors. Manage contractors and ensure work is completed properly and on time. Review property tax assessments and assist with property tax appeals. Maintain organized property, lease, tenant, maintenance, and vendor records. Coordinate with brokers, attorneys, lenders, contractors, inspectors, and other professionals as needed. Conduct regular property visits and identify maintenance or improvement needs. Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: Retail and commercial properties Shopping centers Convenience store or gas station properties Commercial leasing and acquisitions Property tax appeals Construction and renovation projects Contractor and vendor management Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is proactive, accountable, and hands-on. This person should be able to identify a property issue, find the appropriate contractor or solution, obtain pricing, coordinate the work, and follow through until the issue is resolved. The right candidate should also be comfortable assisting ownership with leasing properties, evaluating potential acquisitions, preparing properties for sale, managing tenants, and keeping the overall real estate portfolio organized. Requirements Active real estate license required. Commercial real estate experience required. Property management experience strongly preferred. Experience with commercial leasing, tenants, and property operations. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Ability to manage multiple properties and projects at the same time. Comfortable working with contractors, obtaining bids, and overseeing repairs. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
