May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

In this role, you will be the key point of contact for prospective tenants and current residents, ensuring exceptional customer service while managing leasing processes, property maintenance coordination, and administrative functions. The primary focus of this position will be leasing vacant apartments, responding to prospective tenants, conducting tours, following up with leads, and maintaining strong occupancy. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of lease or rental agreement processes, including application screening, lease signing, renewals, and move-outs. Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, highlighting features and benefits to facilitate upselling opportunities. Follow-up consistently with leads and applicants. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries promptly via phone, email, or in person, ensuring a positive experience throughout tenancy. Oversee property maintenance requests and coordinate with facilities management teams to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards. Maintain and update online apartment listings and advertisements. Enforce Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws to ensure legal compliance across all operations. Assist with rent/fee collection, financial reports, and occupancy forecasts, while managing other leasing-related expenses effectively. Provide consistent updates to ownership regarding the status of leasing and occupancy. Maintain proficiency with property management tools and systems for data entry, filing, and reporting. Utilize property management software to maintain accurate records of leasing activities, tenant information, and financial transactions. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is leasing-focused, proactive, dependable, and comfortable consistently following up with prospective tenants until the lease is completed. Compensation $20 per hour Additional Compensation $300 bonus for each successful new apartment lease/move-in $100 bonus for each successful lease renewal Requirements
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • required.
  • Property management or apartment leasing experience preferred.
  • Strong sales, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn property management software.
  • Experience with online leasing platforms and apartment advertising is a plus.
  • Organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
