Job Description

About the role Josh Holyfield Personal Development operates across multiple brands in the health, fitness, and supplement space, including an online coaching community, a medical optimization practice, a supplement line, and a research product company. You will be the front line across all of them. You will manage our community and handle customer support on orders. This is a small team, and you will work directly with the owner. What you will do Community Management (primary responsibility)
  • Respond to member messages and comments in our online fitness communities on behalf of the owner.
  • Review your own replies for accuracy and tone before sending.
  • Make sure every member question gets a response.
  • Route sensitive topics to the owner, including anything involving medical conditions, medications, adverse reactions, dosing, or clinical services. Customer Support

  • Use saved replies and internal guidelines to answer product questions.
  • Keep accurate notes and update records on every interaction. What we are looking for
  • Active fitness background. You train, you understand nutrition basics, and you can speak credibly to someone asking about supplements and programming.
  • Familiarity with the health optimization or supplement industry. You have at least a working understanding of topics like testosterone, hormone therapy, peptides, or sports nutrition. You do not need to be a clinician, but you should not be hearing these terms for the first time.
  • Prior customer support experience handling emails, calls, or live chat in a professional setting.
  • Strong written communication. Your replies will represent the brand to thousands of community members.
  • Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized across multiple tools and tasks.
  • Professional phone presence.
  • Good judgment. You know when to answer, when to escalate, and when to ask.
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsive during scheduled hours.
  • Calm and helpful with frustrated customers.
  • Comfortable learning new software quickly. Bonus qualifications
  • Experience managing an online community (Skool, Facebook Groups, Discord, or similar).
  • Ecommerce support experience (Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar platforms).
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
From $22.00 per hour Application Question(s): A community member posts asking what supplements they should take for their specific medical condition. How do you handle it? You're juggling three things: a customer on the phone about a missing order, five unanswered community messages, and the owner just texted you a task. Walk me through your next 30 minutes. A community member leaves a frustrated comment saying the advice they got didn't work and they wasted their money. Write your reply. Describe your fitness background. What does your current training and nutrition look like? You notice the same customer complaint coming up three times in one week. What do you do?
