Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of commercial or residential facilities. This role requires a proactive leader with strong management skills, mechanical knowledge, and a passion for maintaining safe, efficient, and well-functioning properties. As a Property Manager, you will coordinate maintenance teams, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and manage facility systems to deliver exceptional service and operational excellence. Your expertise in facilities management, project coordination, and technical troubleshooting will be instrumental in creating a safe and welcoming environment for tenants, residents, and staff alike. Duties Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and according to safety regulations. Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical systems including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical systems, plumbing, and low/high voltage systems. Manage facilities maintenance procedures using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedules, and inventory. Conduct engineering troubleshooting for complex mechanical or electrical issues using schematics, multimeters (voltmeter, ohmmeter), and other diagnostic tools. Ensure compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards by implementing safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits. Develop project management plans for repairs or upgrades involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems, or electrical infrastructure. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, safety inspections, schematics, and repair logs to support ongoing facility operations. Collaborate with vendors or contractors on large-scale projects involving industrial maintenance or system upgrades while managing timelines and budgets. Qualifications Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams or industrial maintenance personnel. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC systems, electrical systems (including high voltage), plumbing systems, and mechanical equipment. Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and safety procedures related to facilities management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and communication purposes. Experience with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance scheduling. Ability to read schematics related to electrical wiring, HVAC controls, or mechanical systems troubleshooting. Knowledge of electrical testing tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters; experience working with low voltage and high voltage systems is preferred. Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated success managing facilities maintenance teams or managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
