Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our vibrant property management team in Norcross, GA. In this role, you will support the overall operations of residential or commercial properties, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning while delivering exceptional customer service. Your proactive approach will help maintain property standards, foster positive tenant relationships, and assist in administrative and leasing activities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in property management, leasing, and facilities oversight within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist in managing tenant relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Support leasing activities including property tours, application processing, and lease signing while upselling available units and amenities. Maintain accurate data entry within property management software such as Yardi, including rent collections, maintenance requests, and lease documentation. Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management tasks to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards. Help prepare legal documents, contracts, and notices in accordance with landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations. Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs, ensure cleanliness, and uphold property standards. Manage administrative duties such as filing, record keeping, phone etiquette, and conflict management to support seamless office operations. Qualifications Prior experience in real estate administration or property management is preferred Proficiency with property management software including Yardi ; experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is advantageous. Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations,, and legal administrative processes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict resolution professionally and effectively. Office experience involving data entry, filing, contracts management, and phone etiquette is essential. Knowledge of property leasing processes, sales techniques including upselling strategies, and facilities management practices. Ability to negotiate contracts and manage landlord relationships while maintaining compliance with all legal requirements. Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
