A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Willis Dady Homeless Services is seeking a Part Time Property Management Specialist to help maintain safe, stable housing for individuals experiencing homelessness and housing instability. This unique role blends property management expertise with meaningful work that helps people build and maintain housing stability. The Property Management Specialist oversees leases, inspections, compliance, rent collection, and property operations while working directly with tenants using trauma-informed and person-centered approaches. This role is ideal for someone who can balance accountability with empathy and thrive in a mission-driven environment. Schedule This position is 25 - 29 hours per week and is primarily scheduled during daytime business hours. Flexibility is required to meet tenant, property, and agency needs, including occasional evening and weekend responsibilities and response to urgent property-related situations. What You'll Do Manage lease administration, move-ins, move-outs, renewals, and tenant communications. Conduct property inspections and coordinate unit turnover activities. Monitor rent payments, occupancy, and lease compliance. Coordinate maintenance needs and vendor services. Partner with case management staff and tenants to support housing stability and successful tenancy. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent; additional education, training, or certifications are a plus. One to two years of experience in property management, affordable housing, leasing, facilities coordination, housing services, or a related field is preferred. Ability to navigate challenging situations with professionalism and empathy. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to serving individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Valid driver's license, good driving record and reliable transportation.
