Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

The Facility Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a small facility in Coon Rapids, IA, with a team of site technicians. This hands-on leadership role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to ensure safety and compliance standards are met. Job Duties & Responsibilities of the

Facility Manager :

Lead and mentor a team of site technicians to ensure operational efficiency and high standards of safety. Coordinate work schedules and task assignments to ensure operational uptime. Conduct team check-ins, performance reviews, and on-the-job training to build technical capability. Oversee monitoring and maintenance to ensure optimal facility performance. Develop and enforce preventive maintenance schedules for various systems. Manage day-to-day operations of the facility. Monitor environmental conditions and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate operational documentation and safety records. Enforce safety policies and compliance with regulations. Serve as the point of contact for inspections and audits. Education & Experience Requirements of the

Facility Manager:

Minimum 3 years of technical operations experience, with supervisory experience preferred. Experience managing teams in an industrial setting. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks. High school diploma required; technical degree a plus.
