Job Description
Job Summary The Community Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our residential community. This position is responsible for ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction while managing all aspects of property leasing, maintenance, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of real estate regulations, and the ability to foster positive relationships within the community. Apartment available to live on-site. Duties Manage all leasing activities, including marketing available units and conducting property tours for prospective residents. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and maintain thorough knowledge of local laws related to property management. Oversee the administrative functions of the office, including maintaining accurate records and documentation related to contracts and leases. Utilize AppFolio software for property management tasks, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting. Develop and implement community engagement initiatives to enhance resident satisfaction and retention. Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance on best practices in customer service and property management. Negotiate lease agreements with prospective tenants while maintaining a focus on maximizing occupancy rates. Maintain effective phone etiquette when communicating with residents, vendors, and potential clients. Experience Proven experience in sales or property leasing is highly desirable. Familiarity with AppFolio or similar property management software is preferred. Strong understanding of administrative processes and relevant laws. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively. Demonstrated knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and compliance standards. Previous experience in an office environment with strong organizational skills is essential.
