May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Part-Time Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of 27 residential units. As the Property Manager, you will ensure the smooth running of the property, providing excellent customer service to tenants while managing administrative duties and property upkeep. This role is ideal for someone looking for a part-time position with growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Tenant Relations :
Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing their needs and resolving issues promptly.
Property Maintenance :
Coordinate regular property inspections and ensure the timely resolution of maintenance issues. Communicate with HACC maintenance staff for maintenance issues.
Upkeep :
Clean the office and common areas of the building.
Leasing & Rent Collection :
Handle leasing processes, including showing available units, processing applications, working with
HACC HCV
Department and collecting rent payments. Rent payments will need to dropped off or mailed to
HACC, 2008 N
Market, Champaign, IL Tenant Communications :
Send notices to tenants regarding policies, changes, and upcoming maintenance.
Compliance :
Ensure the property complies with local regulations, including safety codes, tenant rights, and fair housing laws.
Marketing :
Assist in marketing the property to potential tenants, including creating listings and managing advertisements.
Administrative Duties :
Maintain accurate records related to tenants, leases, rent payments, and maintenance requests. This part-time role is perfect for someone who thrives in a flexible, dynamic environment and is passionate about property management and customer service.
Pay:
$42,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
