Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic multifamily property management team. In this vital role, you will support the day-to-day operations of residential communities, ensuring exceptional resident experiences and efficient property performance. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help maintain high occupancy rates, uphold lease agreements, and foster positive relationships with residents, vendors, and team members. Responsibilities Assist in managing lease or rental agreement processes, including renewals, move-ins, and move-outs, ensuring compliance with all legal and company standards Support property marketing efforts through upselling available units and engaging prospective tenants via phone and in-person interactions Coordinate property maintenance requests and facilities management activities to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents Utilize property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite to enter data accurately, generate reports, and track occupancy metrics Handle client communication with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to resolve inquiries promptly Support budgeting activities by monitoring expenses, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records Assist with compliance related to Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8 housing programs, and other legal requirements Collaborate with team members on conflict management issues and contribute to a positive team environment focused on customer satisfaction Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles; experience with property management companies is highly desirable Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 programs, LIHTC compliance, and contracts management Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar tools; familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus Excellent organizational skills with experience in data entry, filing, and office administration tasks using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Demonstrated ability in conflict management, negotiation, upselling techniques, and client relationship management Effective communication skills with a professional phone manner and the ability to handle sensitive situations tactfully Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Team management experience is advantageous; a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence is essential Join us as we deliver outstanding living experiences while advancing your career in property management! Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
