Overview Pioneer Property Management Inc. is looking for an experienced Residential Property Manager to oversee an affordable housing community in Oswego, IL . Affordable housing experience preferred. Apply today! Job Summary The property manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the assigned LIHTC properties.
Reports To:
This role reports to the Regional Manager.Supervision:
This role oversees the property's personnel (maintenance technician).Functions/Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of assigned property
- Maintain all paperwork, ensuring it's up to date and compliant
- Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet industry required standards
- Maintain a positive, productive relationship with all residents
- Complete lease/contracts with residents in a timely and reliable manner
- Advertise and market vacant units to attract new residents
- Maintain resident ledgers with the goal of minimizing past due balances
- Accomplish company set goals and report periodically on performance
- Other duties as assigned
Competencies:
- 2 years' experience as property manager or related role
- Full understanding of property management and its financial aspects
- In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management, specifically LIHTC
- Competency in Onesite and relevant databases and software
- Customer focus and bottom-line orientation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Well organized with excellent time management skills
