May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

$40,000-$47,500 per year About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufactured housing community in Kokomo, Indiana. The Community Manager serves as the primary point of contact for residents, vendors, and the corporate office while ensuring the community is professionally managed, financially sound, and maintained to a high standard. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and experienced in property management, with the ability to balance operational responsibilities and resident relations. Key Responsibilities Conduct daily property inspections to ensure the community is clean, safe, and well maintained. Coordinate and oversee maintenance projects, vendor services, and contractor performance. Collect rents. Foster positive resident relationships by responding to questions, resolving concerns, and addressing disputes in accordance with community policies. Develop and support resident retention and community engagement initiatives. Enforce community rules and regulations consistently and professionally. Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing regulations. Communicate effectively with the corporate office regarding community operations, financial performance, and resident concerns. Qualifications Required Minimum of 3 years of residential or community property management experience. Strong financial management and budgeting skills. Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation. Excellent conflict resolution and customer service abilities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and property management software. Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
