Job Description

McSherr Inc. is seeking to hire a motivated individual for Group Home Manager in the New Castle Indiana area. Managerial experience is preferred but not required. Group Home Manager is responsible for the management of the home including coordinating and overseeing staffing as well as all aspects of client care. They will work as a member of a cohesive team to ensure active treatment is provided and advocate for Community Inclusion, Human Rights, and Quality of Life for each individual. Administrative responsibilities include use of an electronic timekeeping system, monitoring tracking and data sheets, money management, and scheduling.

Valid Driver License Reliable transportation Flexible work schedule including some evening/weekend when needed for client care High School Diploma Job description Group Home House Manager is responsible for the total management of his/her assigned house in accordance with the philosophy of normalization, the Rules of Licensure and ICF/ID standards. The House Manager works closely with the Direct Support Professionals, QIDP, Social Services Coordinator, Dietician, Health Services Coordinator, Psychologist, Speech and Physical Therapists, Physicians, and others in monitoring active treatment and obtaining needed services as required by State and Federal Regulations. The House Manager advocates for Community Inclusion, Human Rights, and Quality of Life at all times. The group home mgr will also be in the oncall rotation with other house managers.
