Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Property Manager / Leasing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily property operations, maintaining positive tenant relationships, coordinating maintenance needs, and assisting with leasing activities. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn industry best practices are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of residential properties Inspect properties for damages and maintenance needs Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and property improvements Collect rent, utilities, and other tenant payments Enforce lease terms and late payment policies Negotiate and manage lease agreements Assist with determining rental pricing and market evaluations Track operating expenses, invoices, receipts, and warranties Develop and maintain property policies and procedures Oversee property security measures and lock installations Communicate effectively with tenants regarding repairs and emergencies Manage vendors and property personnel, including landscapers and cleaning crews Maintain accurate property and tenant records Advertise and market vacant units Build and maintain positive tenant relationships Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous property management or leasing experience preferred Affordable Housing experience is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when needed Must pass a pre-employment background screening Preferred Skills Knowledge of leasing procedures and tenant relations Budgeting and expense tracking experience Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive team environment Paid training available Schedule Full-time Monday to Friday Weekend availability as needed Work Location In person
