Job Overview Red Fish is looking for a reliable, organized, bilingual professional to join our property management team. This position involves a combination of office administration, property management, accounting support, tenant communication, and field work. The ideal candidate should have experience in property management and be comfortable working independently, communicating with tenants and owners, showing properties, coordinating vendors, and handling day-to-day property management responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage day-to-day property management tasks. Show rental properties to prospective tenants. Communicate with prospective and current tenants. Assist with rental applications, leases, move-ins, and move-outs. Follow up on rent payments, late balances, deposits, and tenant accounts. Prepare and deliver tenant notices. Assist with the eviction process and related documentation. Coordinate maintenance requests and communicate with vendors and contractors. Schedule vendors and coordinate access to properties. Inspect vacant properties and report maintenance or property issues. Follow up on vacancies and help prepare properties for rent. Assist with basic accounting and bookkeeping tasks. Review invoices, expenses, payments, deposits, and financial records. Assist with bank-related business errands and document delivery or pickup. Maintain organized property and tenant records. Communicate with property owners regarding repairs, expenses, tenants, and property-related matters. Handle phone calls, emails, messages, and other administrative tasks. Travel to properties and other locations as needed. Assist with other day-to-day operational needs of the property management company.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous property management experience preferred. Experience with accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Strong communication and customer service skills. Excellent organization and follow-up skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities. Comfortable working both in an office and in the field. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Ability to work independently and make decisions regarding routine day-to-day matters. Professional, dependable, and responsible. Comfortable communicating with tenants, owners, vendors, contractors, and prospective tenants. Must be available during regular business hours and flexible when property-related needs arise.
SCHEDULE
Full-time Monday-Friday Approximately 40 hours per week
COMPENSATION
$20-$25 per hour, depending on experience.
