At Community Bridges South, we support adults with developmental disabilities in all areas of life, cultivating opportunities for meaningful, fulfilling, and independent life as possible. We are currently preparing to expand our Day Program to full-time hours and are excited about this opportunity for the individuals we serve. Our goal is to provide engaging, purposeful experiences that combine fun and social activities with individualized and group-based life skills training. Programming may take place both within our facility and throughout the community, including activities such as movies, bowling, community events, volunteering, recreation, and other experiences that encourage participation and independence. We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and motivated Day Program Director to lead this effort. The ideal candidate will enjoy working directly with adults with varying levels of disabilities and will bring energy, creativity, patience, and a genuine desire to help others learn, grow, and have fun. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to help shape and grow a program where every individual has opportunities to learn new skills, build relationships, participate in their community, and experience success.

• Facilitate daily operations of CBS Day Program and ensure the program runs safely and efficiently.

o Develop and maintain a daily schedule of activities, training opportunities, community outings, and special events. o Monitor the overall atmosphere of the program and proactively address periods of inactivity or disengagement. o Coordinate large-group activities as well as smaller group activities based on individual client needs.

• Build relationships within the community to identify opportunities for meaningful community engagement for clients.
• Encourage clients to participate in activities that build independence, confidence, social skills, and practical life skills.
• Encourage clients to develop vocational and entrepreneurial skills through projects such as crafts, sales, community projects, and other appropriate opportunities.
• Coordinate with QIDPs and Day Program staff to support formal training objectives.
• Assist staff in adapting training activities to meet individual client needs.
• Help ensure training opportunities are meaningful, purposeful, and appropriately documented.
• Financial Administration of a department budget.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Education, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Experience working with adults with disabilities.
• Experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience working in an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) or similar setting.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to manage program budgets, purchasing, supplies, and resource management.
• Ability to respond calmly and appropriately to behavioral, medical, safety, or staffing emergencies.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and other confidentiality practices.
